The Good News Connection!

New in response to Covid -- Our church building may be closed, but God is always open!  The Good News Connection is a free Sunday school subscription for kids ages pre-school on up.  Children whose parents register them will receive a packet on their doorstep every other week.  Each packet will include a Bible story so kids can build their own Bible binder.  Other contents will vary from ready-to-make crafts to snacks.  Packets geared towards non-readers can be completed in about 15 minutes (with the help of an adult).

Adult Sunday School

We offer an adult Christian Formation Class from September through May at 9:30 a.m. in the Hospitality Room. The class considers a wide variety of topics, from current church issues, to studies of specific books of the Bible.

Godly Play

Based on the Montessori Method, Godly Play teaches children in grades Pre-K - 2nd through the art of play. The use of religious language, parable, sacred story, liturgical actions and music and crafts helps the children become more fully aware of the mystery of God's presence in their lives.

Holy Moly

HOLY MOLY is a fun and informative program for grades 3-5 that features stories about famous characters in the Bible. Featuring videos and fun activities, this program will build on stories that the children have learned in Godly Play. They will get to know many of the famous figures of the Bible.

Education for Ministry

EfM is a college-level distance learning theological education program of the School of Theology of the University of the South in Sewanee Tennessee. Participants commit one year at a time to meet regularly in seminars led by a trained mentor. Completion of the program takes four years during which participants study the Bible, church history, and twentieth century theology. St. Aidan's is proud to offer 2 EfM classes during the year, on Thursday evenings and Friday mornings. EYC Youth Group

St.Aidan's youth grades 6-12 meet weekly on Sunday evenings at 5:30pm. EYC provides time for fellowship and spiritual growth opportunities for youth to form a community committed to living out the words of our baptismal covenant. In addition to weekly activities, such as games, movies, and rock wall climbing, members participate in several retreat events each year that combine spiritual development with first-class fun activities. Contact Chuck Marks or Lynn Meadows for more information about EYC.

Men's Spirituality

The Men's Spirituality Group, an ongoing study group, meets throughout the year on the first and third Satudays of each month at 9:30 am. One of its core elements is to awaken our ultimate nature through a deep discussion of selected spiritual literature.
