ST. AIDAN'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH

"CHRIST'S BEACON FOR ALL SEEKING GOD"

Stewardship Letter

Dear St. Aidan's Family and Friends,

Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

At St. Aidan’s, we unite as a vibrant parish family, sharing life’s joys and challenges. The joy we feel for this parish and the community brings us together and makes this parish truly unique. Everyone who comes to St. Aidan's describes the joy they feel here, which is why we decided to call the 2025 Stewardship Campaign “Together for Joy.”

Over the last 60 years, we have been together for joy. During those years, we have faced trials and had a multitude of blessings, growing and making a profound impact on our community and beyond. We have been blessed with dedicated leadership from both laity and staff and together, we continue to thrive!

As we look ahead, we invite you to join us in planning, not only for the upcoming 2025 budget but also for the future of our beloved church. This year, we are embracing an exciting new approach: our budget will be based on actual pledges, plate, and revenue rather than merely our hopes for ministry. This shift enables us to be responsible stewards of our resources, ensuring a conservative budget that minimizes our deficit.

Christ calls us to give with a joyful heart, out of gratitude for all that God has provided, and for the joy that St. Aidan’s brings to our lives and how we experience God here. Every financial gift helps to contribute and sustain the creativity and faithfulness that define our parish family’s spirit. Your generosity has allowed us to launch meaningful ministries and make vital upgrades to our nursery and church grounds, enhancing safety and community engagement.

Historically, we have often reacted to needs as they arise. In order to stabilize and grow, it is essential to set intentional goals to ensure St. Aidan's thrives for generations to come. We are confident that with every member stepping forward in faith, we can embark on this next chapter rooted in love and growth.

Stewardship encompasses giving of our time, talent, and treasure. We encourage everyone to participate in potlucks, volunteer, and serve in various ministries throughout the year. As we all focus on our financial contributions during this stewardship season, you are invited to reflect on how you can share your blessings with others. If you find it challenging to give monetarily, please consider increasing your offering of time and talent.

Our Giving Sunday  Stewardship Campaign began on September 29th at our one service at 9:30 AM and will culminate with our Ingathering service on October 27th at our both regular services. Together, we will gather our pledges, bless them, and celebrate with a potluck lunch following the 10:30 AM service, along with a lively coffee hour at 9:30 AM.

Please place the enclosed pledge card in a prominent spot in your home. Each time you see it, take a moment to ask God for guidance in discerning your pledge for the upcoming year. Reflect on how you have experienced God’s joy at St. Aidan’s and how you might want to share that joy going forward.

Thank you for all we have accomplished together and for all that lies ahead. Until we meet again, let us continue to be united in joy!

In faith, gratitude, and joy,

 Your Giving Campaign Team
