                                  Programs for Children

                           Godly Play                                               Children Pre-K to Grade 2                                             9:30 to 10:15 a.m.

Based on the Montessori Method, Godly Play teaches children through the art of play. The use of religious language, parable, sacred story, liturgical actions and music and crafts helps the children become more fully aware of the mystery of God's presence in their lives. The class starts at 9:30 a.m. in the education wing. Children may be picked up at 10:15 a.m. Questions?  Ask - Kathy Benson -

                                                Holy Moly Sunday School Class                                                                                                     9:30 - 10:15 a.m. Grades 3-5

HOLY MOLY is a fun and informative program that features stories about famous characters in the bible. Featuring videos and fun activities this program will build on the stories that the children have learned in Godly Play. They will get to know many of the famous figures of the bible. Take a walk back to biblical times with people like Abraham, Isaac and Joseph. Questions? Ask David Crouse, Jr.

During the first part of our 10:30 a.m.  service our youngest children go to the chapel for a time of instruction geared to their age group while the readings and the sermon are occuring in the main church. Children return to their parents at the Peace so they can participate fully in our Communion Service.

July 15 - 18
From July 15-18 our young people heard the story of St. Paul as he traveled to spread the good news of the Gospel to the whole world. There was a lot of singing and dancing as well as a recreation of a marketplace in ancient Athens. In the marketplace children watched pottery being made and then made their own pots. Every night they would visit Paul in his tent making shop and hear about how Paul was spreading the gospel and what it means to us today as well.

Advent Workshop for Families

On Sunday December 3, we decorated grocery bags. Each day during Advent we added an item of food (canned vegetables, box of spaghetti, jar of peanut butter) to the bag. The filled bags were returned in January to stock our food pantry that serves our community on a weekly basis.
